I was able to do a little work to the website tonight, and here’s what I got accomplished.  I was able to take the free scripts and templates from Saratoga Weather and come up with a full featured method for displaying the weather data from my Vantage Pro. There is also an option for NWS weather forecasts and other data, very similar to the old HamWeather installation I was running previously.  While they give you the basics to get you going, there are a lot of details I need to sort through.  Once I have it the way I want it, I would like to see if I could merge it with this WordPress site.  Lofty goals, I’m sure.  In the meantime, here is what I have so far.  I’m sure there are some issues, and some of the standard offerings don’t apply to my situation, but it’s a start.  Now that I have something to work with, I’ll just take one configuration file at a time and fine tune it as time permits.  Again, thanks to Ken (and others, see this link) for providing the coding to get the journey started.

Just getting familiar with the blog and how it works.  Nothing more and nothing less.

We had a web host issue from the end of January until early March. The website was still visible, but we couldn’t upload any weather data to the site. This has now been resolved. I am currently working on repairing and updating the site. For the most part, the site is functional regarding current weather data. However, there are several “holes” in the past data. I am determining if this data can be repaired and if so, the amount of effort required. Thanks for your patience and understanding.
